Repair Policy
We specialize in automotive module-level repair. Read below to understand how our repair process works and what to expect when you send us your unit.
You are responsible for the cost of shipping your unit to us. Once your repair is complete, we cover the cost of return shipping back to you at no additional charge.
Module Medics is not responsible for units lost or damaged in transit to our facility. We strongly recommend using a tracked, insured shipping method.
Most repairs are completed within 3 weeks of receiving your unit. Turnaround time begins once your unit arrives and passes inspection at our facility.
Complex repairs or units requiring special components may take additional time. If your repair requires more time, we will contact you directly.
All units must be accurately disclosed at the time of ordering. If your unit has been previously opened, tampered with, or has water or moisture damage, you must disclose this at checkout.
Units that arrive in undisclosed condition may be subject to additional diagnostic or repair fees. We will always contact you before proceeding with any additional charges.
If your unit is found in worse condition than disclosed, we will pause all work and contact you with a revised quote. You may then:
- Approve the revised cost and proceed
- Decline and request your unit returned (return shipping at your cost)
- Request a no-fix return (bench diagnostic fee may apply)
All completed repairs include a 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated on the service listing. The warranty covers the specific repair performed and does not extend to new or unrelated failures.
The warranty is immediately void if the unit is opened or tampered with after being returned to you.
In the rare case that your unit is not repairable, we will notify you promptly. A bench diagnostic fee may apply for the time and labor invested in evaluation.
Your unit will be returned to you. Return shipping on unrepaired units is the customer's responsibility.
Refunds are not issued for successfully completed repairs. If you believe your repair did not resolve the issue, contact us within 30 days of receiving your unit and we will work to resolve it under warranty. Refund eligibility is evaluated on a case-by-case basis and only applies where a repair was not completed as described.
Module Medics' liability is limited solely to the cost of the repair service purchased. We are not responsible for vehicle downtime, towing costs, rental vehicles, dealer labor charges, or any other consequential or incidental losses related to the repair or the repaired unit. By ordering a repair service, you agree to these terms.
